I would use a gift certificate towards lap tops for my girls, as they are getting ready for college. No only will they use those for school work, communicating with me :), but also to look up recipes and nutritional facts.

      That’s BRILLIANT, Åsa! ;-)

I would buy fermented cod liver oil for the next year for my family. My husband and I are both students and right now we can’t fit it into my grocery budget.

I would buy books. I’m an aspiring backyard farmer and I want to learn all I can about gardening, caring for livestock, raising chickens, and how to best prepare and preserve the things I’m able to raise/harvest.

      Sounds heavenly!

I would purchase some Christmas gifts for my toddler. And maybe a new cutlery set while at it ;)

I would put it towards an Asus PA246Q monitor… I love photography and want to do it professionally, but it’s impossible to know what an image will look in print based on what I see on my current cheap monitor.

Wow, impressive photog-speak!! You’re talkin’ way over my head. ;-)
      I love your blog, Gina!

Carolyn I am so excited that you are creating a new path for yourself!
I would love to get a Vitamix to be able to blend vegetables for breakfast. I had a borrowed juicer that I loved but had to return it. Fixing a breakfast other than eggs and gluten free toast would be a wonderful break. I also wanted to have it to make smoothies for my high schoolers to drink as a snack when they get home from school instead of crackers or granola bars. They love to cut it close on school day mornings so a smoothie to pass to them as they run out the door would be a healthy way to start their day.

Thanks, Fielding! Love your veggie smoothie breakfast idea!

Hi Carolyn! I’ve been daydreaming about a dehydrator. I’d love to be able to get one this year!

I would let my husband pick, he has wanted a tablet of some kind for a few years. Possibly a notebook or something like that…. he would get some kind of electronic.
